Certificate for oil
Oil is a substance consisting of a series of water-insoluble mixtures of substances having a liquid or solid consistency, used by man for a variety of purposes, depending on its type.
Certificate for oil is an official document which confirms the quality of the product, established by Russian legislation standards and norms, obtained in the process of passing product certification.
According to the approved Government Resolution No. 982 of December 1, 2009 “The unified list of products subject to mandatory conformity (certification)”, oil and fat products refers to goods that are subject to the procedure of certification. It can be expressed as in obtaining the declaration of conformity and certificate of conformity for the product. Moreover, very soon there will be the EEA Technical regulations of the Customs Union related to all butter and oil production.

To obtain the declaration of conformity, the applicant chooses product characteristics that determine its quality, and enters into an agreement with an accredited laboratory to conduct studies to confirm these characteristics.
Also, for these types of products a voluntary certificate of conformity for oil may be designed. During the certification process, the products are tested for compliance with the technical regulations for oil and fat products under number 90-FZ adopted on 24 June 2008 and which entered into force on 8 July 2008.
To obtain certificates for oil, the application is submitted to the certification body that has state accreditation, which conducts a study of the production and its compliance with the standards; after that the center issues a certificate confirming the quality of products.
